Change the LAN IP Address of the Router

Here you will find instructions in case the LAN IP address of the router needs to be changed, for example, so that a connected device can communicate with the router using different network settings without requiring adjustments on the device itself.

Teltonika Router

  1. Log in to the router, see also Local Access to the Router Web Interface (WebUI).
  2. Under Network -> LAN, click on 'Edit'.

  3. Here you can set a different IP address under IPv4 address and, if necessary, a different subnet mask under IPv4 netmask

  4. Apply the changes by clicking 'Save & Apply'.

    • The connection to the WebUI will now be disconnected.
    • Access to the WebUI will henceforth only be possible via the new IP address.
    • If port forwarding to target IP addresses of the original subnet 192.168.1.0/24 has been set up in the router, these must be adjusted accordingly according to the instructions in Add Port Forwarding in the Router .
