The best way to make sure your router is connected to the internet is to check the APN details.
To do this:
- Plug your router into a laptop, computer, etc. using the LAN cable.
- Enter the LAN IP address into your internet search bar.
- When prompted, log in using the details on the configuration sheet in the box that comes with the router:
Note: You can also find the login details on the back of the router. - Click on the Network tab on the navigation bar on the left-hand side.
- Click on Interfaces > General:
- Scroll down to the mob1s1a1 option – this is for your first SIM.
Note: If you have a dual SIM router, you will also have a second SIM listed under mob2s1a1. - Click on the pencil icon next to the mob1s1a1 option to edit:
- Make sure the APN is set to Custom.
- Enter the desired APN into the Custom APN box. This should match the APN on your SIM – you can find this information in SIMPro.
- Click Save & apply.
- If you have a dual sim router, repeat these steps by clicking on the pencil icon next to mob2s1a1. Make sure your APN details match each SIM.
- After a few seconds, the changes should register. This should help connect your router to the internet.
