Updating the router WIFI password

For greater security, we encourage you to update the WIFI password as soon as you receive your router.

To change your password:

  1. Plug your router into a laptop, computer, etc. using the LAN cable.
  2. Enter the LAN IP address into your internet search bar.
  3. When prompted, log in using the details on the configuration sheet in the box that comes with the router:Picture7.pngNote: You can also find the login details on the back of the router.
  4. Click on the Network tab on the navigation bar on the left-hand side.
  5. Click on Wireless:

  6. Your router’s WIFI will be displayed. If your router has two WIFIs, you will need to change the password on both.
  7. Use the pencil icon on the same line as the WIFI information to edit:

  8. Click on Wireless security in the pop-up box:

  9. Type in your new password. You can use the eye icon to view the password.
    Note: Your password must have a minimum of eight characters.
  10. Repeat these steps with the second WIFI option if you have two.
  11. When you are happy with the new password(s), click Save & apply.
