For greater security, we encourage you to update the WIFI password as soon as you receive your router.
To change your password:
- Plug your router into a laptop, computer, etc. using the LAN cable.
- Enter the LAN IP address into your internet search bar.
- When prompted, log in using the details on the configuration sheet in the box that comes with the router:Note: You can also find the login details on the back of the router.
- Click on the Network tab on the navigation bar on the left-hand side.
- Click on Wireless:
- Your router’s WIFI will be displayed. If your router has two WIFIs, you will need to change the password on both.
- Use the pencil icon on the same line as the WIFI information to edit:
- Click on Wireless security in the pop-up box:
- Type in your new password. You can use the eye icon to view the password.
Note: Your password must have a minimum of eight characters. - Repeat these steps with the second WIFI option if you have two.
- When you are happy with the new password(s), click Save & apply.
