How to view and analyse the consumption of your cards

Note: There are now multiple ways to set up alerts, depending on your requirements. The method described below will send a single alert, once a day. For near real-time alerts (and usage capping) see What are Caps & Alerts?

To check the data usage of your SIM cards, there are several options within our platform:

Check data usage for each SIM

Firstly, you can access the consumption of a specific SIM from the Subscriptions section. Once there, find the SIM card you want to monitor and click on its ICCID to access the subscription details.

In this section, you will find a panel with detailed information about data, SMS and voice consumption. Additionally, you can check different usage metrics:

  • MTD (Month To Date): Accumulated consumption from the first day of the month up to the current date.

  • LMTD (Last Month To Date): Accumulated consumption from the first day to the same date, but of the previous month.

  • LM Total (Last Month Total): Total consumption recorded during the previous month.

Use usage reports to view and analyse consumption

It is also possible to view the consumption of multiple SIM cards more easily by creating reports. For this, you can refer to the article Creating predefined reports in SIMPro.

On the other hand, the platform allows you to set up usage alerts, so that a notification is sent when a SIM exceeds a certain consumption threshold. You can find more information in the article Usage alerts

Caps & Alerts

You may be looking for our new Caps & Alerts feature which is now available with enhanced usage monitoring and capping capabilities. See the Caps & Alerts Help Centre articles at the bottom of this page for more information.

Please note: usage data on both platforms is sourced via Radius — only private APN usage will be available.
