Where to find the bulk add/remove tags actions
- Log in to SIMPro and go to the Subscriptions page.
- Use the tick box to select the SIMs you want to add/remove tags for.
- Click on the Edit button to bring up a drop-down menu. From here, you can select whether to add or remove tags.
Note: When working with multiple SIMs, you can only add or remove tags; you can’t do both in one action. To do this, you will need to click into the SIMs individually.
If you select the add tags option
- To add tags, start typing the tag you would like to add to the SIMs. If the tag has already been used before, it will display in the dropdown list, and you can click to add it.
- If a tag doesn’t display in the dropdown list, you will need to create a new one. Type the full word and press enter Or click the create tag button at the bottom of the dropdown list when done to create the new tag.
- When you are done, click Update to save the changes.
Note: There is a 10 tag limit per SIM. On the add tags page it will display how many more tags you can add for the selected SIMS. If the page indicates "you can add no more tags", it means one or more SIMs have reached the tag limit. If you need to add more tags you will need to cancel this action and do a remove tags action to create space for new ones.
If any selected SIMs already have 10 tags at the point of clicking the add tags action, you'll receive an error message prompting you to review the “no. of tags” column on the subscriptions table and remove tags from the affected SIMs before proceeding.
If you select the remove tags option
- To remove a tag, click the “X” next to any tags you want to remove from the selected SIMs.
- If you make a change by accident, you can use the Reset Changes button to undo the change.
- When you are done, click Update to save changes.
