- Log in to SIMPro and click Subscriptions on the navigation bar to view your SIMs.
- Select the SIM(s) to be cancelled and click More Actions > Cancel SIM:
- If required, you can enter an optional customer reference.
- Select the reason for the cancellation request from the dropdown menu.
- Select the desired cancellation date.
- You can also request a full bar by selecting Yes from the Bar SIM dropdown.
- To update the cancellation date or bar request of an individual SIM, use the options displayed against each SIM line under the Affected SIMs summary box at the bottom of the page.
Note: If SIMs are already barred, the option will not be available to update them. - Select Next to continue.
- If applicable, repeat the same process for out of contract SIMs (see below for more info).
- A summary of the request, detailing any applicable costs, will be displayed. You can click Download Quote to download a copy in an excel spreadsheet.
- To accept the quote, select Confirm Cancellation. To decline the quote, click Cancel.
Note: If there is a bespoke cancellation agreement in place, the request will be passed to the Sales Admin team for the costs to be manually calculated. In and out of contract SIMs
There are two stages to cancellations – in and out of contract SIMs. Both stages will only be applicable if one or more of the selected SIMs fit either category.
SIMPro will first display any in-contract SIMs (SIMs with more than 30 days left on the contract) that have been selected.
In-contract SIMs can be scheduled to cancel at any time after the end of the contract. They can also be cancelled with immediate effect upon payment of an associated buyout and admin fee. The buyout fee is calculated on the outstanding line rental to the end of the contract.
SIMPro will then ask you to repeat the process with any out of contract SIMs.
