How to add email recipients for SIM usage alerts

Note: There are now multiple ways to set up alerts, depending on your requirements. The method described below updates the email addresses that will receive a single usage alert email once a day. For near real-time usage alerting please see How to create a Caps & Alerts rule

To receive notifications when a usage threshold has been exceeded on your SIM, you can add email recipients on the billing account page.

Each usage alert has two thresholds: a low threshold and a high threshold. Once the low threshold is reached, a daily email will be sent with updated usage totals until the usage resets on the 1st of the month.

Steps to Add Email Recipients:

Log in to SIMPro and navigate to Account > Billing Accounts.
Click the Edit button to update your account details.
Scroll down to the Email Addresses section.
Add the email addresses in the Usage Alert Email Address box. To add multiple recipients, separate each email address with a semicolon (;).
Once finished, scroll up and click the Update button at the top of the page.

The recipients listed here will now receive email notifications when SIMs reach the set usage thresholds.
