To further strengthen the security of your solutions, we introduced a new authentication method for SIMPro APIs on April 4th, 2024. This method requires the use of a unique API key for authentication. It will be available alongside the existing username/password authentication method until the latter is discontinued on June 28th, 2024.
What actions should you take?
You can find a step-by-step developer guide for making the required changes in our Guide for SIMPro API Authentication. Please ensure you make these changes by June 28, 2024, or your API access will cease to function.
