Automatic Router Restart (Daily Reboot)

Especially for routers preconfigured by Wireless Logic mdex, a regular router restart is enabled. This ensures that any errors or connection issues that may accumulate over time are automatically resolved. The regular restart thus contributes to optimising the performance and reliability of the router.

This function can be customised or disabled individually in the router:

Teltonika Router

Under 'System -> Maintenance -> Auto Reboot' in the tab 'Reboot Scheduler', the router restart can be set up, adjusted or also disabled.

  • Clicking on 'Edit' allows you to adjust the interval type, days and restart time.
  • If the switch Enabled is set to off, the function is disabled and automatic restarts will no longer be triggered.
  • Clicking on 'Add' allows you to set up (additional) restarts.

Advantech Router

Especially for routers preconfigured by Wireless Logic mdex, the required router app Daily Reboot to trigger a daily restart is already installed in the router.

Under 'Customization -> User Modules', click on the link 'Daily Reboot' to open the settings.

  • 'Enable Daily Reboot' activates or deactivates the function.
  • Under 'Time', the restart time is set.
