Step 1: Remote SIM Swap

  • Our team will remotely swap the MSISDN (mobile number) and its full configuration onto one of our test SIM cards.

  • Swapping provisioning on to the test SIM typically takes a few minutes, however, can take up to an hour to fully complete.

Step 2: Testing with a 4G Dongle

  • Once the SIM swap is complete, we'll insert the test SIM into a 4G dongle.
  • The dongle serves as a reliable tool to test the connectivity of the SIM in a real-world scenario.

Step 3: Establishing Connection

  • We'll initiate the registration process to check if the SIM is able to establish a connection to the network.
  • This step helps us determine if the SIM provisioning is correct and if there are any network-related issues.

Step 4: Comprehensive Testing

  • After establishing the network connection, we'll conduct comprehensive testing to ensure everything is functioning smoothly.
  • For data issues this includes activities such as pinging the IP address, searching the internet, and testing upload and download speeds.

Step 5: Confirmation and Feedback

  • Once testing is complete, we'll provide you with confirmation of the results and switch the MSISDN back onto the original ICCID.
  • If the SIM does not connect automatically, a reboot should be done after an hour which may help push the SIM into a session.
