Creating SIMPro users

To add a new user:

  1. Log in to SIMPro and click on Account > Users:

  2. Click Create New User.
  3. On the General tab, enter the user's first name and last name.
  4. Enter their username and email address.
  5. Customer hierarchy: If the user should see the entire billing account, enter your billing account number here. Alternatively, enter a SIM Group name to limit the user to a group of SIMs.
  6. Primary billing account: Add the account number charged for any SMS sent via the platform.
  7. Home route: This will be the page the user lands on when logging into the platform.
  8. Under the Role Groups tab, select the access level the user should have:

    User access levels: 
    • View only (No billing or tariff info): User can only view SIMPro, cannot action any requests and would not have access to BillPro, billing account, dashboard or any billing information. 
    • View only (No BillPro): User can view SIMPro, billing account and run reports but cannot action any requests and does not have access to the BillPro tab. 
    • Normal user: This is our standard level of access. User can access all pages and functionalities. 
    • API User: User has access to the API suite.
    • Restricted access: User has access to a limited version of SIMPro with no features.
  9. Click Create.
  10. The user is sent an email with their username and a link that allows them to set their password.
