SIM Custom Fields

What are custom fields?

Custom fields can be used to store additional information. Up to 10 custom fields are available to assist with SIM identification.

Each field allows for a label of up to 50 characters. Common examples of custom field uses include Device ID, APN details, a specific site name, or an alternative customer contact.

Where can I find my SIMs' custom fields?

Once assigned, you can find your custom fields in the Custom Tabs within the Subscriptions section of SIMPro. You can also view these fields in the individual SIM details or through templated reports.

Note: The first custom field you configure will appear on your invoice.

Custom Field Labels

It is possible to personalize the labels for your custom fields. For example, if you define "Address" as the label for Custom Field 1, the system will display "Address" instead of "Custom Field 1," followed by the specific text you have entered for that field.

 

 

 

 

 

To edit these labels, click on your profile name in SIMPro, located in the top left corner. This will take you to a section where you can edit your profile. Editing labels in this section will only apply the changes to your specific user account.

Note: If your user account has the necessary permissions, you can change the labels for all users in your organization via the "Billing Accounts" section. Please note that when this action is performed, an email notification will be sent to all affected users.
