You should bear in mind that the number shown on our platform is the IMEISV. Therefore, you may find differences with the IMEI indicated on your device. To understand what this means and how to correctly identify and find the IMEI, you should consider the following:
- An IMEI consists of 15 digits. The last digit is a check digit, that is, it is calculated using the first 14 digits.
- An IMEISV consists of 16 digits. The first 14 are the same as those of the IMEI of the same device and it lacks a check digit; instead, two additional digits are added that refer to the software or firmware version of the device.
- If you wish to calculate the check digit to obtain the 15-digit IMEI, you can use one of the various IMEI calculators available on the internet. These tools calculate the last digit if the first 14 digits are entered.
