Teltonika Router: Exporting the 'Troubleshoot file'
All configuration settings and log files relevant to analysis are stored within the router as a 'Troubleshoot file'.
It is important to note that performing a restart of the router will erase all log entries. Therefore, it is crucial to export the 'Troubleshoot file' after the malfunction has occurred but before restarting the router.
Steps to export the 'Troubleshoot file':
- Login to the router's WebUI interface using a web browser.
- Navigate to the appropriate menu option:
Up to firmware ver. R_00.07.03: System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot. From firmware ver. R_00.07.05: System -> Maintenance -> Troubleshoot - In Troubleshoot section, click on "Download" and save the file to your PC.
Important note: It is essential to compress the file into a zip format before sending it via email through the ticket system to the support team, as uncompressed tar.gz files may be blocked by the firewall!

- Login to the router's web interface using a web browser.
- Click on System Log under "Status" section, and then click on button Save Report:
- Save the report file on your PC (report.txt).
You may send the report text file as an attachment via email through the ticket system for support purposes.
