Setting up scheduled reports

You can set your SIMPro reports to run in the background on a schedule of your choosing.

Existing reports

  1. Click Reporting on the navigation bar.
  2. Tick the report(s) you want to schedule and click Schedule:

  3. You will be asked if you want to run the report now or schedule the report:

  4. Choose the option to set a schedule and use the frequency/period dropdown to select when you want the report to run:
    • Same day – every week
    • Same day – every month
    • Daily
    • Last day of the month
    • Last working day of the month
    • First day of the month
    • First working day of the month
  5. When you have set your schedule, click Finish to schedule your report.
  6. You can see if a report is scheduled or not by checking the Scheduled tab in the reporting table:

New reports

  1. Click Reporting on the navigation bar.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Follow the steps to build your report. When you get to the final section, it will ask if you want to run the report now or set a schedule.
  4. Choose the option to set a schedule and use the frequency/period dropdown to select when you want the report to run.
  5. When you have set your schedule, click Finish to schedule your report.

Note: You can add multiple email addresses to receive the scheduled reports; they just have to be an existing SIMPro user.
