Our aim is to continuously ensure the highest quality in all areas.
To ensure the stability of our systems and compliance with applicable security standards, we regularly carry out scheduled maintenance work. These measures include, among other things, the replacement of outdated hardware, the integration of additional systems, as well as the implementation of software updates on existing equipment in our data centres (RZ).
Possible restrictions during maintenance:
- To ensure redundancy, only one data centre (RZ BB or RZ HS) is maintained at a time, so that all active connections are immediately switched to a redundant data centre and therefore only very short downtimes are expected.

Despite all precautions taken, there may occasionally be brief connection interruptions for mdex accesses and SIM cards. After completion of maintenance work, it may be necessary, especially for SIM cards, to restart the mobile device (router/modem) in order to restore the interrupted mobile data connection.
As with all mdex preconfigured mobile routers, an automatic connection monitoring (ping reboot) should be activated in the mobile device. This function ensures that, in the event of an interruption, the mobile device is automatically restarted, thereby independently restoring the mobile data connection. Suitable ping servers and further information can be found here.

Standard Wartung
Via the mdex Management Portal (mCOP) under Messages we will inform all affected customers in good time about the next scheduled maintenance, which we announce as "Maintenance work (RZ BB / RZ BB)".
This involves maintenance work at the respective mentioned mdex data centre (RZ), affecting all mdex SIM cards and mdex accesses. However, critical systems of the “mdex Regelleistungsplattform” (RLP) are excluded from this.
RLP Wartung
Via the mdex Management Portal (mCOP) under Messages we will inform all affected customers in good time about the next scheduled maintenance, which will be announced as maintenance work on the Regelleistungsplattform.
This involves maintenance work exclusively on our "mdex Regelleistungsplattform" (RLP). This maintenance only affects customers who use the "mdex Regelleistungsplattform (RLP)".
'Ferien Schleswig Holstein' and 'Weitere Termine'
To better plan our maintenance work, we have included the holiday dates in Schleswig Holstein and, if applicable, other dates in the calendar, which, however, are of no relevance to you.
