This description refers to the functionality of DevicePro and mCOP 2.0.
SIMPro users must log in to DevicePro,
existing mdex users with log in with their mCOP login-data in mCOP 2.0.
Users have the option to display status information of the mobile router in specially designed tiles for each individual SIM device. The display of the status makes monitoring the router considerably easier and enables a clear assignment of which mobile router the respective SIM card is active in. This is particularly advantageous for companies or users who have to manage multiple SIM cards and routers.
Router requirements
'SNMP Remote Access' must be enabled at the router, which allows the portal to perform an SNMP query of the status information from the router. ‘SNMP Remote Access’ is usually already prepared in the preconfigured mdex routers, but may not yet be activated. You can find detailed instructions for this at Enable SNMP Remote Access in the router.
Note: The SNMP query of the router is initiated when the router has established a data connection and the SIM device is accessed in the portal. The first time the router is queried, it may take a few minutes for the router cards to be added and the current status information to be displayed. Pressing the F5 key restarts the router query and updates the display in the portal.
