Description
The 'DevicePro SIM-Tunnel' can be optionally added for SIMPro -> DevicePro.
The OpenVPN technology allows any client (PC, smartphone, or tablet) to connect to Wireless Logic. This ensures secure unidirectional remote access from this client to all IP addresses and hostnames of the SIM cards activated for 'SIMPro -> DevicePro'.
The 'SIM-Tunnel' enables the secure transmission of all ports and protocols to the SIM card, such as SSH, FTP, Telnet, HTTP/S, RTSP etc.
However, it should be noted that this is unidirectional remote access, and the SIM cards cannot actively reach the SIM-Tunnel IP address of the OpenVPN client (PC, smartphone, or tablet).
Simple Quick Guide
- Order the 'DevicePro SIM-Tunnel' from Wireless Logic.
- Download an install the OpenVPN client for your OS:
- OpenVPN GUI for Windows
- OpenVPN Connect for Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, iOS, ...
- Download configuration file (.ovpn) and import it into the client software.
- Once the connection has been successfully established, the IP addresses or hostnames of the SIMPro SIM cards activated for DevicePro can be accessed remotely.
